Showcase: Tau Commander

Time for another showcase, fellas! Here's my current Tau Commander in his crisis suit, at least until Games Workshop releases a resculpt of the XV-8s. This was my first crisis suit ever, so I decided to try out a couple of things with it.

How to paint Necron Deathmarks III - the Glow Effect

This is it, the final part of the Necron How To, with a special on the glow effect, or as it is also called - the Object Source Lighting (OSL) effect. It can be used in various ways and forms to add some fancy visuals to a miniature. Be it Space Marine eye lenses, glowing Tau rifles, flashing headlights on a tank - there's really no limit. The best part about it, though - it's not that hard to pull off, at all.

Finally, here it is, the promised How to paint Necron Deathmarks. I've teased this article for some time now, especially with this article here. Games Workshop developed some beautiful new models when they relaunched their Necrons, the deathmarks are among them. The cyclopean look, the long rifles and the menacing poses you can create with the kit are great. To top it off, I think Necrons are really easy and a joy to paint.
