Space Marines vs Tau - Back to 40K for a bit
Hey folks, in case some of you might miss the 40K content on here or aren't all that interested in Infinity (why wouldn't you? Check it out now!:) ), here's some good ol' GW for you. I got to play my good friend David and an epic battle ensued between his Sentinels of Terra and my Tau.

Infinity Father Knight - The How To
I've talked about it before, on the official Infinity forums and on here, that I planned to do a How-To on the Father-Knight (FK), Corvus Belli's Limited edition release, that is only available in their Operation: Icestorm boxset.

PanOceania army: the light infantry
You might remember my first post about my PanO army, where I showed you my heavy and medium infantry. Here's the next part of it - introducing my Kamau and the fusiliers.
Datasphere Painting Competition: WIP
There's a painting competition going on right now over at Data Sphere. All participants are supposed to paint a heavy infantry model in the next 3 months. Since competitions keep me motivated to paint, I decided to join.

PanOceania army - heavy and medium infantry
I've teased you about doing more Infinity stuff recently, but it's time to show some actually painted minis, right? Right. So I'm gonna show you some pics of what's been done so far...
How to paint Necron Deathmarks III - the Glow Effect
This is it, the final part of the Necron How To, with a special on the glow effect, or as it is also called - the Object Source Lighting (OSL) effect. It can be used in various ways and forms to add some fancy visuals to a miniature. Be it Space Marine eye lenses, glowing Tau rifles, flashing headlights on a tank - there's really no limit. The best part about it, though - it's not that hard to pull off, at all.

How to paint Necron Deathmarks - Part II
Hello all,
sorry that it's taken a while, work and health issues have kept me from finishing the Deathmarks as fast as I'd hoped. So let's get to the good stuff...there's no need for more "the story so far" moments.

Your first miniature
I know, I know, you are waiting for the How to on the Necron Deathmarks. Don't worry, it's coming. Work is still keeping me from finishing the Necrons, though. In the meantime I thought I might show you all a little something... my first miniature:

| Time for a break... |
Anyways, the coming weekend will be all about doing hobby stuff and getting those Necron deathmarks painted. I'm itching to get my hands on them again.
So, check back here next week to find some fresh and new content. See you around, guys. Have a nice weekend. Cheers,
Kenza
The dangers while priming miniatures
Hey all,
today's topic is more of a warning and at the same time a teaser for what's to come. It's about priming miniatures and the mishaps you might encounter. Too thick, too dusty, and how the hell do you prime properly anyways?
Imotekh the Stormlord - a Necron Overlord
Hey fellas,
sorry that there was no blogpost this week. I finally managed to take a decent pic of an older project of mine. With the release of the last Necron codex, I took part in my local GW's painting competition for the new Necron characters. It was my first go at a Finecast mini and my first time painting a Necron.
How To: The Raven Guard Chaplain - Part 2
| For the Emperor! |
Welcome back to the second part of the How-to article. I finished Part 1 with shading the miniature. This time I will try to tackle all the highlighting steps. Recently I've stuck with a 3-step highlight on my miniatures, unless it's a HQ choice or a miniature for a competition. The latter is the rare case nowadays, though. It's hard to find the time to attend Golden Demon and prepare a miniature appropriate for the required level of painting. Thus I stick to a high level of tabletop quality.

'Ere we go!
Hey folks,
this is my first blog post ever, so let's get the official stuff out of the way.
What is this Blog about?
- It's about painting Miniatures, really. I guess you have heard of Tale of Painters or Massive Voodoo and the likes before, right? That's what I will try to aspire to. Put some of my painted minis out there, tell you how they were done, give you WIP shots of them and add the occasional painting article.
- There will be times, when it is not about painting but rather more of an editorial. Those times when I feel like I need to talk about stuff like my approach to the hobby, some literature, hell, maybe some music and movies, that might inspire the painter in you.
- Lastly, maybe there might be guest posts. Maybe. Depends on how this site will develop.
